Nikolaev law enforcement officers exposed a group of persons involved in the functioning of an online porn studio and subterfuge
Two local residents organized illegal activities. They also worked on two administrators and more than 10 “models”, who in real time showed customers scenes of a frank, including pornographic nature, for which they received money. In addition, at the request of the clients and the monetary reward, they could go to the saunas for the provision of sexual services. According to preliminary estimates, such illegal business brought organizers more than 100 thousand dollars a month.
On April 29, investigators of the Investigative Department together with CBU employees in the Nikolaev area under the procedural leadership of the District Prosecutor's Office of the city. Nikolaev stopped the illegal activities of a group of four intruders.
During the documentation of illegal actions of offenders, law enforcement officers established that two Nikolayevites, brothers 27 and 29 years old, found young women on Internet resources, where girls in search of work posted their resumes. In the future, offenders offered them to provide paid sexual services and work as so-called web models in studios.
Internet porn studios were equipped with special equipment, lighting devices, webcams, computers, and furniture. Video broadcasts of explicit and pornographic content through various online sites were carried out by more than 10 girls who worked in shifts. Also, at the request of the clients and monetary reward, they could go to the saunas for the provision of sexual services, which the “models” were informed about by the administrators (attendants).
As part of the investigation, law enforcement officers conducted 13 searches, during which they discovered and seized computer equipment, bank cards, telephones, notebooks with records, as well as cash in the amount of about 40 thousand US dollars and 15 thousand hryvnia received as a result of criminal activities.
Two attackers were detained by investigators in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the court chose preventive measures for them: one detention with the right to make a bail of 181 thousand hryvnias, the second - house arrest. Detainees and two other defendants (administrators) under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office were informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 303 (Prostitution or involvement of a person in prostitution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For their actions, they face punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to seven years.
According to the head of the GUNP in the Nikolaev area Sergey Shaykhet, the “earnings” of the attackers reached more than 100 thousand dollars per month. Investigators will provide a final assessment of the actions of all defendants in the course of the investigation. Currently, other members of the group are established, involved in the organization and functioning of illegal business.
