Nikolaev guards helped a man who was bleeding
Returning home after a public order service, two National Guardsmen of Military Unit 3039 noticed blood stains on the asphalt, near a public transport stop. After inspecting the area, the military noticed a citizen who was bleeding.
“First, we checked whether the man was conscious. He reported that he tried to climb over a metal fence and injured his leg. There was only a belt at hand, which we used to stop the bleeding and immediately called an ambulance,” said soldier Dmitry Kraevsky. After the arrival of the medics, the guards helped them move the stocky man on a special vehicle.
Already in the hospital it was found that the citizen had damaged an artery, and the timely actions and help of the military saved his life.
