Mykolaiv region: Criminal proceedings have been opened on the fact of an explosion in a residential building in Novaya Odessa
The event is qualified under Part 2 of Art. 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the requirements of fire or man-made safety established by law, which caused the death of people”.
As part of the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers establish all the circumstances and causes of this tragic event.
Recall, today, November 27, in the city. New Odessa in the corner part of the five-storey residential building there was an explosion, previously, of domestic gas, as a result of which the 4th and 5th floors were destroyed.
Police, rescuers and representatives of other specialized services and departments continue to work on the site. Previously, 3 people were injured as a result of the explosion. The citizen, whose body was deblocked from under the rubble, died. The search for two other possible blocked persons continues.
On this fact, the investigative department initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the requirements of fire or man-made safety established by law, which caused the death of people”. All the circumstances of the explosion and its causes are established.
