The Migration Service of Kyiv detained foreigners who tried to enter Europe illegally through Ukraine
Employees of the Department of Migration Control, Countering Illegal Migration and Readmission of the CMU SMS in the city. In Kyiv and the Kiev region, together with the employees of the National Police and the State Border Service, a group of foreigners who at one time came to Ukraine for training at the invitation of one of the higher educational institutions of the capital, which gave them grounds for obtaining temporary residence permits in our country.
However, in early May of this year, these four Algerian citizens were detained by representatives of the Romanian border police during the illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine with Romania outside the checkpoints and were transferred to the territory of Ukraine as part of the readmission procedure. As a result, the employees of the State Fiscal Service Administration decided to forcibly return foreigners from Ukraine with a ban on entry, and the Migration Service canceled residence permits in Ukraine for the specified immigrants from Algeria.
Violators of migration legislation did not leave the territory of Ukraine in due time, so they were detected and detained on the basis of Part 2 of Art. 263 KUPap of Ukraine. Regarding foreigners, administrative protocols have been drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 203 KUPap “Violation by foreigners and stateless persons of the rules of stay in Ukraine and transit passage through the territory of Ukraine” and is placed at the Point of Temporary Stay of Foreigners for the purpose of further expulsion from the territory of Ukraine.
It should be noted that the educational institution, whose students were the mentioned violators of migration legislation, has repeatedly come to the attention of employees of the CMU DMS in the city. Kyiv and Kyiv region, as there were cases when students of this university illegally crossed the state border and were subsequently expelled from Ukraine.
