Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky said that the process of creating the Register of Weapons is currently underway. Already in January it will be put into test operation, and in two months it will be possible to talk about the full operation of such a service.
“The function of obtaining and controlling weapons will become fully serviceable. Citizens will have a free right to use weapons. With the work of the Registry, we will certainly reduce corruption risks. As for the number of illegal weapons, these figures vary. Our goal is to be able to get weapons through clear, transparent services,” the head of the law enforcement agency said.
