Doctors of the Mariupol Brigade of the National Guard have improved their professional training
The life of servicemen largely depends on the knowledge of first aid measures and the ability to apply them in practice. On the basis of military unit 3057, a meeting with junior medical personnel was held.
Over the course of two days, freelance health instructors and marksmen improved both theoretical and practical skills in providing medical care to wounded or injured servicemen in emergency conditions associated with impaired vital body functions.
On the first day of training the guards were considered theoretical issues regarding the organizational structure of medical and evacuation support during the performance of service and combat tasks, as well as the material base used by guard medical specialists in everyday life.
The practical part of the meeting took place directly at the places where the guards performed service and combat tasks, where most often fighters can face injuries or injuries. In the classes on tactical medicine, the examination of the unconscious wounded, the stopping of bleeding, the transition to a stable lateral position of the wounded, as well as the search and evacuation of the wounded to a safe place were worked out.
“Classes were intense and interesting. We all tried to remember as much as possible, because these knowledge and skills are necessary and not only your life, but also the life of your brothers can depend on it,” said guard Dmitry during the meeting.
The meeting ended with summing up: the instructors together with the participants analyzed the shortcomings made during the practice. After that, each of the participants passed tests on emergency conditions and basics of tactical medicine.
