Almost 2000 apartments have been received by the soldiers of the National Guard since 2015, — the commander of the NGU
Today in Vyshgorod, near the location of the military unit 3027 of the National Guard on the street named after General Kulchitsky, the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel General Mykola Balan, handed certificates and keys to new service apartments to the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine.
“This spring, 35 families of servicemen will celebrate the Easter holidays in their homes. We are also working on the development of the infrastructure of this town. As soon as the quarantine restrictions are lifted, we will open a physical education and health complex in which servicemen and members of their families will be able to practice and attend sports sections,” said Colonel-General Mykola Balan.
The commander of the NGU thanked the guards for the high-quality performance of their duties and professionalism.
“Health to you and well-being, good and comfortable living in new homes. I wish that your loved ones and loved ones gather here, so that your happy moments of life with family and friends will pass here. Thanks for the service! Glory to Ukraine!”, — Mykola Balan addressed the new settlers.
According to the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, every year the number of families of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine who receive housing increases. In the period from 2015 to 2020, almost 2000 families from different regions of Ukraine received housing.
Sergeant Sergey Stavyanko is one of those who today received housing.
“I sincerely thank the leadership of the military unit, the Northern Territorial Administration, the command of the National Guard for the opportunity to feel like a master in my own home. Many of my friends have already received apartments before or are getting them today,” he says.
Also this year, the construction of a preschool for children began here, which is planned to be completed by the end of next year.
For reference: A modern residential building of 35 apartments is located in the city of Vyshhorod on the street, which bears the name of the Hero of Ukraine Major General Sergei Petrovich Kulchitsky. The house was put into operation in 2021 as part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Program for providing housing for servicemen, ordinary and senior staff, officials of the customs service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and members of their families. All apartments in it have the status of office housing. The creation of a service housing fund is provided for by the Law of Ukraine “On social and legal protection of servicemen and members of their families”.
