268 cadets of the National Guard Academy, led by 15 experienced officers, underwent traineeships in the military units of the National Guard of Ukraine. The cadets talked about the time spent in officer positions and the work done, in defense of the internship at the Academy.

The guards were evaluated by scientific and pedagogical staff and faculty management. During the defense, the cadets reported on service in the positions, told about the tasks that the commanders set before them and the experience gained during the internship. Each cadet provided the commission with a plan of work done, feedback from commanders, and the encouragement they received.

“For each of the cadets, passing a military internship is an opportunity to gain practical skills. All cadets are enriched with experience, which they will certainly use during their service in the troops,” said Colonel Igor Kovalev, associate professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training.

Recall that the guards of the Command and Staff, Humanitarian and Faculty of Logistics of the Academy underwent traineeships in five operational-territorial associations and eleven military units of the National Guard of Ukraine of direct subordination. They performed the duties of a patrol (rifle) platoon commander, operational platoon commander, chief (deputy) of the center, communications node, chief of the automobile service, chief of the weapons service, chief of the material service of a military unit, chief of the food service of a military unit, officer of the department service (service) of psychological support of a military unit, deputy company commander for work with personnel, etc.

“During the internship, the commanders assign certain responsibilities to you and you are already responsible not only for yourself, but also for the people who are subordinate to you. You need to organize and command, conduct information, during this time you grow very professionally. In general, I am quite satisfied with the month of military training and the protection of materials,” says Sergeant Denis Livandovsky, a cadet of the Faculty of Logistics.

According to the results of the internship defense, all cadets received positive marks.
