Luhansk region: fire elimination in the forest continues, the fire is currently localized
Today, August 30, at 13:25 the Rescue Service “101” received a message about the need to help forestry in eliminating the fire of coniferous litter in the forest near the village of Purdivka, Severodonetsk district. With the help of equipment, employees of the Sand Forestry of the Novoaidar Forestry Forestry Farm laid a mineralized strip along the perimeter of the fire zone (soil was plowed to a certain width by a tractor).
Thanks to the coordinated actions of rescuers, foresters and the Armed Forces, it was possible to prevent the spread of fire. 12 units of equipment and 29 workers were recruited from the foresters, from the Armed Forces — 2 units of equipment and 15 employees, from the State Emergency Service 6 units of fire equipment, 35 rescuers and the headquarters of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Luhansk region. With the help of an unmanned aerial device, rescuers constantly monitored the situation.
The fire was localized at 2:30 p.m. Fire extinguishing continues.
No casualties or casualties were identified during the fire.
