Border Guard cadets won prize places at the Uniba World Championship
Cadets of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky performed as part of the national team of Ukraine at the World Championship in Universal Combat. The championship started on December 8 in Antalya, Turkey.
According to the results of the championship, in the section “Light”, the cadet of the Faculty of Law Enforcement Victoria Ukraintseva won the first place in the weight category up to 57 kg among girls. Silver was won by a cadet of the same faculty Danylo Semenyaka in the weight category up to 90 kg among men and senior sergeant Anastasia Galushka from the Faculty of Operational Service Support in the weight category up to 57 kg among women. Also, the bronze for the team was won by the cadet of the Faculty of Security of the State Border Ilya Dzisyak.
In the “Classic” section in the weight category up to 63 kg among women, cadet Victoria Ukraintseva also went to gold, and among men Vladyslav Chorney and Ilya Dzisiak took the first places in weight categories up to 65 kg and up to 75 kg, respectively. Senior Sergeant Anastasia Galushka in this section, in the weight category up to 57 kg among women, won silver.
According to the results of the competition, the national team of Ukraine won the first place in the team standings, the second place was taken by the national team of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the third place was taken by the national team of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
