“Criminal authority” “Vato Kipiani” forcibly returned to the country of origin
Today, June 25, employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police, together with the State Migration Service, forcibly returned the “authority” to its country of origin. The man was included in the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council as a person who by his actions may pose a threat to the national security of the state and citizens.
A 42-year-old repeatedly convicted Georgian citizen nicknamed “Vato Kipiani” was previously detained by law enforcement officers of other countries for committing serious crimes, including murder. In Ukraine, he represented the interests of influential Russian and Georgian “lawmen in law” in the criminal world, controlled groups engaged in extortion and theft of funds, and was directly responsible for organizing criminal gatherings.
As part of the systematic fight against the spread of criminal influence in Ukraine, law enforcement officers forcibly returned Vato Kipiani to his country of origin, prohibiting him from entering the territory of the state.
