Cyber police expose sports coach for creating child pornography
The defendant produced and distributed illegal content on DarkNet with the participation of his pets. The attacker was declared a suspect. For his actions, he faces up to ten years in prison.
The criminal offense was exposed by the officers of the anti-cybercrime department in the Zaporizhzhya region together with the investigators of the Alexandrovsky police department of the region. A 48-year-old man, working as a sports acrobatics coach, created pornographic photo materials with the participation of underage girls. The defendant informed his pet's parents that their children would allegedly participate in a sports underwear photo shoot and obtained their written consent. However, the attacker forced the teenage girls to pose for candid pictures. In the future, the defendant distributed the fabricated illegal content on a thematic forum in DarkNet for profit.
Three girls, who were 8 years old at the time of the crime, suffered from unlawful actions.
In the residence of the accused, police officers searched and seized computer equipment, a camera and hard drives. According to the conclusions of the Zaporizhzhya Research Expert and Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the seized equipment contained more than 500 Gb of pornographic photos with the participation of children.
The offender was declared a suspect under Part 2 of Article 156 (Corruption of Minors), Part 4 of Art. 301 (Import, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic items) (as amended before the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine No. 1256-IX of February 18, 2021) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to ten years in prison. Investigative actions continue. Procedural management is carried out by the Voznesenivska District Prosecutor's Office of Zaporizhia.
