Cyberpolice exposed the state registrar and the representative of the company in real estate fraud

The State Registrar made changes to the register and unreasonably removed the seizure from real estate worth more than 21 million hryvnias. This allowed the building to be sold illegally. The defendants were declared under suspicion.

The offenses were exposed by the officers of the department of combating cybercrimes of Ivano-Frankivsk region together with the investigators of the district police department.

A 30-year-old man, serving as the state registrar of one of the village councils of Rivne region, unauthorizedly removed the arrest from a commercial premises in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk.

The official decided to remove such encumbrances despite the fact that the city court arrested the building with a ban on committing any actions against it.

Thus, the attacker, on the basis of unreliable documents, enabled an official of one of the private companies to sell real estate. According to the results of the examination, the value of the property is more than 21 million hryvnias.

The State Registrar was informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 362 (Unauthorized actions with information processed in computers, automated systems, computer networks, committed by a person who has the right to access it) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to three years in prison.

The official of the private Company was informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 364-1 (Abuse of powers by an official of a legal entity of private law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For the crime, the suspect may face up to six years in prison. Investigative actions continue.

Procedural management is carried out by the District Prosecutor's Office of Ivano-Frankivsk.
