The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the parade of the Security and Defense Forces
The parade of the Security and Defense Forces, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, ended in Kyiv. The solemn events were attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky, the head of the State Emergency Service Mykola Chechotkin, the head of the State Border Service Sergey Deyneka, the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Mykola Balan and the head of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
President Volodymyr Zelensky in the center of the capital presented state awards to servicemen, outstanding figures of education, science and culture.
Before the military parade on Khreshchatyk, the theatrical action “DNA of Ukraine: “Ukraine conquers its own” was shown, which absorbed the most important historical milestones of our state from the times of Kievan Rus to the present day.
This year, 30 parade calculations took part in the festive parade of the Security and Defense Forces. Of these, 10 are representatives of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs — the National Academy of Internal Affairs, the National Police of Ukraine, the Honor Guard of the NGU, the National Academy of State Fiscal Service, the National University of Civil Defense, the Unified Military Orchestra of the NGU and the two cynological units of the NGU and the DPSU.
The parade also featured an air column. The aviation units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs attracted Airbus Helicopters H145, H225 Super Puma, DА42 - MI, AN-72 and AN-32P aircraft.
This year, for the first time in the years of Ukraine's independence, a demonstration of joint actions of the forces of the security and defense sector of the state took place on the Dnieper River near the Kiev River Station. Also, ships and boats solemnly passed in the waters of the Black Sea.
From the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service, the parade on the water took part: 2 boats Safe Boat 27 10 of a separate operational response detachment “Dozor” and a small boat of the Maritime Guard UMS-1000.
From the National Police of Ukraine: 4 multifunctional boats TUNA UMS 600, boat 865 CABIN, special assault boat Spirit 585.
From the State Emergency Service of Ukraine: air-cushion rescue boat “MARS-700”, fireboat “UMS-865", self-propelled motor vessel “Crownline 270 CR”, mining boat “SKR SPRUT”, diving and rescue boat “Rescuer 101”.
It is worth noting that today the President signed a decree on the celebration of the birth of Ukrainian statehood on the Day of Baptism of Kievan Rus-Ukraine. The day of baptism of Kievan Rus-Ukraine is celebrated in Ukraine annually on July 28 — the day of memory of the holy equal-apostolic Prince Vladimir.
