Israel gives Ukrainian rescuers equipment to prepare for Rosh Hashanah in Uman
August 26 in the city. Uman, the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine with the assistance of the Jewish organization Haverim established cooperation between the fire services and the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Cherkasy region.
The SNSS unit received equipment from the Israeli side in preparation for the celebration of the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah). The equipment will help improve efficiency in saving lives and eliminating emergencies.
This year, the Rosh Hashanah celebration will last from September 6 to 8.
Recall that the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will carry out a complex of security measures during the celebration of Rosh Hashanah in Uman. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky. The parties discussed the organization of pilgrimage of Bratslav Hasids to the city of Uman, Cherkasy region, during the celebration of September 6-8 of the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah.
