Ivano-Frankivsk region: depressurization occurred on the main gas pipeline “Uhersko-Ivano-Frankivsk-Chernivtsi”
June 8 at 12:05 near s. In Kluzov Ivano-Frankivsk district on the main gas pipeline (diameter 500 mm, not transit, used for the needs of Ukraine, LLC “Operator of GTS of Ukraine”) “Uhersko-Ivano-Frankivsk-Chernivtsi” depressurization took place without subsequent combustion.
As of 13:45 there is a decrease in gas leakage pressure. There are no casualties or casualties. The units of the State Emergency Service evacuated two residents from the territory of the suburban area, and the population was alerted. Residential buildings at a distance of 1 km and the plant of PJSC “Ivano-Frankivskcement” at a distance of 500 m. The depressurization site has been connected. The emergency brigade of the REM conducted de-energization of the s. Kluzov.
The emergency teams of Ivano-Frankivskgaz and Bogorodchansk LV UMG, which serves this gas pipeline, work at the scene of the incident. The State Emergency Service involved 28 people and 9 technicians.
According to the information of the next PJSC Ukrtransgaz at 13:00 the emergency site (12.8 km long) was closed. The event did not affect the gas supply of settlements. Switching of the gas supply through the bypass gas pipeline was carried out.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a fire of part of the gas pipeline at the point of transition from the ground to the surface without subsequent combustion. An investigative and operational team and explosives squad of the National Police are working at the scene.
