Guards from the Joint Forces Detained Suspect of Involvement in Illegal Armed Formations
On July 19, guards from the United Forces at one of the checkpoints in Luhansk region detained a person who is reasonably suspected of involvement in illegal armed groups.
Around 11:00, while serving at a stationary checkpoint, the guards, after a mandatory check of documents, restricted the movement of a citizen of 1993 birth. A database check confirmed that the person is suspected of involvement in illegal armed groups.
A 27-year-old citizen was detained and taken to the local police station. He is charged with committing a crime under Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — “Creation of paramilitary or armed formations not provided for by law”.
Recall that on July 9, guards from the United Forces, while serving at one of the stationary checkpoints in Luhansk region, detained a citizen of 1983, also involved in illegal armed formations.
