Guardsmen performing service and combat tasks in the area of the Joint Forces celebrated the Independence Day of Ukraine
Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, who are now defending the state border, protecting the safety and tranquility of all citizens and guests of the country, joined the solemn events in the city of Pokrovsk, the villages of Velyka Novosilka, Volnovakha and other regions of Donetsk region.
Thirty years in a row, millions of Ukrainians celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24.
“Dear Ukrainians, we are all one whole, the heart of our native land, thanks to all of us — doctors, military, teachers, cooks, entrepreneurs, schoolchildren, there is such a powerful, strong and unbreakable state — Ukraine,” says Major Oleksandr Kovalchuk.
Our lands are enriched with fertile black soil, and people skillfully use the natural potential for comfortable living. The National Guard, the Armed Forces and other law enforcement structures guard law order and security, protect sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Also, the guards of OTU “East” and the headquarters of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Armed Forces were awarded certificates, thanks, jubilee medals “30 years of Independence of Ukraine”, awards “Cossack Cross” and sincere words of gratitude.
