Guards of the Honor Guard of the National State University of Ukraine raised the State Flag near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
Yesterday, the soldiers of the First Presidential Brigade of operational assignment named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko renewed the tradition of raising the State Flag near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Also, the guards of the special battalion will carry the Honor Guard near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The events will take place on weekends and holidays at Constitution Square from 10:00 to 18:00.
For the guards of the Guard of Honor, this is a great honor. After all, during such a truly spectacular and responsible ceremony, the whole country looks at them. That is why they prepare for the event very carefully and exactingly, honing each movement to the ideal.
“This is not the first time I have participated in such an event and it is a great honor for me. Such a crucial and significant moment,” Senior Lieutenant Artem Hnatyuk shares his impressions.
The changing of the guard is carried out every hour. So everyone has the opportunity to see this action with their own eyes.
Recall that for the first time the ceremony of carrying the Honor Guard and raising the state flag took place on March 1, 2020. But due to quarantine restrictions, it was temporarily suspended.
The tradition was started to commemorate the four National Guardsmen who died in Constitution Square on August 31, 2015.
