Front offices will work in each territorial unit — Igor Klymenko
As part of a working visit to Rivne region, where today, July 13, large-scale tactical and special training of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place, the head of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klymenko inspected the front office in the Rivne district police department. This is the seventh territorial unit of the GUNP in the Rivne region, where the police front office worked.
Igor Klymenko together with the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Yarov and the head of the GUNP in Rivne region Alexey Kamyshansky inspected the premises designed according to European standards.
“Rivne district administration is the largest division of the region. Of the more than 50,000 appeals registered with the police, more than half belong to the regional center, - said Igor Klymenko. - The idea of the National Police is to create a front office in each territorial unit so that citizens feel that they have come not to the penal body, but to the law enforcement agency, which is capable of and is able to provide appropriate police services.” Front-office workers have received appropriate training and are being improved so that anyone who comes to the police with their problem can get help and legal, and
practical.
“We want to achieve that the police are closer to the people and people trust the police,” added the head of the National Police.
In Rivne District Administration, from now on, a reception, a duty station, rooms for conducting investigative actions, reception of citizens, appointments, and delivery of persons are equipped in the open space. And later, as part of the project “CUSTODY RECORDS”, video surveillance cameras will be installed throughout the premises, which will ensure both the observance of citizens' rights and the prevention of compromising actions on the part of the police.
