They were falsely employed and received loans — in Dnipropetrovsk region police exposed a group of fraudsters
The attackers searched 11 citizens for more than half a million hryvnias. The organizer and her three accomplices have already been informed of the suspicion.
The operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region of the National Police, together with law enforcement colleagues, exposed the participants of the criminal group and received evidence of their involvement in criminal activities.
As it was established, a resident of Nikopol organized a fraudulent scheme, attracted three people to the accomplices. In accordance with the developed plan, advertisements for employment were placed in newspapers and the Internet. In the future, they received the necessary documents from citizens and concluded fictitious employment contracts with them with all the questionnaires and other data. Then, on the basis of the information received online, loans were issued to the victims in various financial institutions.
Yesterday, December 28, the investigative department of police No. 5 of the Dnipro Regional Police Department informed the organizer and three members of the criminal group about the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 190 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
During August 2020, in October 2021, the attackers managed to deceive 11 citizens and seize their funds in the amount of more than half a million hryvnias.
The issue of choosing preventive measures for suspects is being resolved. For what they have committed, they can face from five to twelve years in prison with confiscation of property.
