The SNS received the sixth H225 Super Puma helicopter

On May 22, rescuers met the sixth H225 Super Puma helicopter with flight number 56, which Ukraine received as part of the creation of the aviation security system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Recall that the last time a French helicopter under contract was received by the State Emergency Service at the end of November 2020.

The H225 Super Puma helicopter with flight number 56 is additionally equipped for emergency rescue operations: a winch for lifting and a searchlight for searching the ground in the dark.

All previously received helicopters were actively involved to perform tasks as intended in 2020: during the elimination of large-scale fires in the territory of the Chernobyl Zone, Zhytomyr and Luhansk regions, during the elimination of the consequences of torrential floods in the Carpathian region, for the implementation of sanitary aviation flights, as well as for the rescue actions during security measures in local elections in Ukraine.

In general, within the framework of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Ukraine and France, it is envisaged to receive 55 Airbus helicopters for the unified aviation safety and civil protection system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
