DPSU: Week of work of checkpoints in the area of the joint operation
By decision of the Joint Forces Operation Commander, all checkpoints are open for passage through the demarcation line. Checkpoints operate daily from 08.00 to 16.00. However, traffic in most humanitarian road corridors is blocked from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Opposite the Novotroitske checkpoint, the occupiers unblock the movement only for individual citizens, twice a week — on Mondays and Fridays. During these days, 588 people and 81 vehicles crossed the demarcation line at the checkpoint to the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, at the same time 559 people and 93 vehicles passed through the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
Of the seven open checkpoints, a full pass is carried out only in “Stanytsya Luhanska”. Passenger traffic there was dynamic and increased by 35% compared to last week. In total, 9,991 people passed through this road corridor into the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in a week, and 10,019 people entered the controlled territory.
During the control measures, the border guards detected 3 citizens who were heading to the controlled territory on partially forged documents. Notices are sent to the National Police on the detection of signs of criminal offenses.
4 trucks with humanitarian cargo passed through the checkpoint “Novotroitske”. The International Committee of the Red Cross for the population of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine delivered food kits and building materials. The total weight of humanitarian aid was about 75.6 tons.
We remind you that at the checkpoint there are anti-epidemic measures. Thus, a prerequisite is to stay at the checkpoint in a protective mask (respirator) with observance of social distance.
At the same time, during the action of the “green” level of epidemic danger in Ukraine, citizens arrive in the controlled territory without undergoing self-isolation. And foreigners need to have a health insurance policy to cross the demarcation line.
