DPSU: Slovak side informed about changes in the procedure for the admission of foreigners to its territory
Travelers are advised to do this before arriving in Slovakia, as it is impossible to register at checkpoints due to poor Internet coverage. There is no Wi-Fi access on the territory of Slovak checkpoints.
This also applies to those who enter the territory of Slovakia by train through the checkpoint “Chop (Guard) — Cierna nad Tisou”. A person who arrives on the territory of Slovakia by train and does not fulfill the conditions of entry (not registered at https://korona.gov.sk/ehranica) will not be missed, and his return to the territory of Ukraine will be complicated due to the schedule of trains.
Slovak colleagues also inform that from 19.00 (Central European Time) on 05.07.2021, EU citizens will check digital COVID cards (via mobile application) when entering the territory of Slovakia. Such cards are issued to EU citizens as a certificate of vaccination, test (antigen, PCR) or overcoming COVID-19 disease.
