DPSU: Smuggling of goods increased in price. Border guards calculated the amount for half a year

Counteracting the illegal movement of goods in the first half of 2021 shows a significant increase in the amount of the assessment.
Thus, since the beginning of this year, border guards have detected goods illegally moved across the border in the amount of UAH 465.3 million. This figure is 40% higher than the same figure last year (333.3 million UAH). Even more revealing is the fact that the total number of attempts to move goods illegally decreased by 23%.
In addition, since the beginning of 2021, border guards have detected 35 stolen vehicles and 141 cars - with fake, defective documents, as well as with unit numbers that do not match the entries in the registration documents.
