For a coordinated response to all events during the Rosh Hashanah celebration, the interdepartmental operational headquarters started work

To fulfill the mandate of the Minister of Internal Affairs, an interdepartmental operational headquarters was established in Uman, which included representatives of the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the National Guard and the Migration Service.

Today, September 4, an interdepartmental operational headquarters under the chairmanship of the head of the GUNP in the Cherkasy region Mikhail Kuratchenko began work in the city of Uman. The headquarters includes representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Migration Service and the National Police of Ukraine.

Deputy Head of the National Police Oleksandr Fatsevich and Head of the Emergency Response Department Volodymyr Demchuk launched the work of the interdepartmental operational headquarters.

“In order to respond promptly to all events during the Rosh Hashanah celebration, the interdepartmental operational headquarters started work today. In particular, the main tasks of ensuring law and order in the place of pilgrimage and organization of response to all events, including those of a man-made nature, are defined,” Oleksandr Facevych said.

The organization of service at locations where solemn events are held to commemorate Rosh Hashanah and the work of the Situation Center of the National Police of Ukraine were also checked.

Recall, together with the police and national guards, the police of the State of Israel, who arrived on September 3, work. The foreign delegation includes representatives of explosives units, special forces, operational services, who also provide assistance to the Ukrainian police in ensuring order and communication with pilgrims.
