Children of Ukrainian communities from all over the world prepared Christmas gifts for the soldiers of the Joint Forces
The National Guard of Ukraine joined the annual World Action of the All-Ukrainian League of Ukrainian Women together with the League of Ukrainian Women of Canada “Christmas Star”, which provides for the delivery of various gifts to the area of the operation of the United Forces. Under the terms of the action, children of Ukrainian communities of the world and Ukraine prepared Christmas gifts and souvenirs for the soldiers. OOS are, in particular, Christmas stars (pictures, cards, Christmas cookies, other products,
at your discretion). Making souvenirs made it possible for children to create a Christmas miracle for defenders with their own hands, raise their spirits and fighting spirit.
All gifts were consecrated by His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphany of Kiev and All Ukraine in St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery.
During the ceremony of dedication of gifts for Ukrainian soldiers, representatives of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, chaplains of military units of the NGU, Chairman of the All-Ukrainian League of Ukrainian Women, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the National Council of Women of Ukraine, Head of Education Department of Pechersky District of Kyiv and representatives of 3 schools in Kyiv were present.
In the coming days, these children's Christmas souvenirs will be handed over to the soldiers in the area of the Joint Forces operation.
