Denis Monastyrsky presented state and departmental awards to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine
Today, October 13, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky awarded rescuers, policemen, guards, border guards and migrants with the orders “For Courage”, medals “For Impeccable Service”, “For Saved Life”, “Defender of the Fatherland”, badges “For distinction in service”, “For the safety of the people”, diplomas and certificates of honor.
“Today in the Ministry there are those who ensured the internal security of the state at a high level. Unfortunately, not everyone has been able to reach this time,” the minister said.
With a moment of silence, those present honored the memory of all those who died who fought for sovereignty and defended our country.
“Today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs unites forces that create internal security for every citizen of our country. Guards, border guards, migrants, rescuers and policemen - this is our holiday!”, - said Denis Monastyrsky.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed that he is proud of everyone who has devoted his life to protecting his native land:
“Without our combined efforts, the security of the state is impossible. I am convinced that every citizen of our country feels this. I wish victory to all of us on this great day! Glory to Ukraine.”
The Order “For Courage” of the second degree was received by the First Deputy Commander of the Special Aviation Detachment Konstantin Kolomin.
The Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree was awarded to Lieutenant Colonel Mikhail Antonenko, Colonel Sergei Polishchuk, Senior Ensign Vladimir Zhovnach, Senior Sergeant Andrei Kinash, Sergeant Alexander Slusar.
The Medal “For Impeccable Service” of the III degree was awarded to the ensign of the Civil Protection Service Alexander Kirikovich.
The Medal “Defender of the Fatherland” was received by Master Sergeant Alexander Karelkin.
The Medal “For Life Saved” was awarded to the senior ensign of the civil protection service Alexander Konotop.
Also, the departmental incentive award of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Firearms” was awarded to employees of the National Police of Ukraine, rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Service of Ukraine.
