This was announced today, November 16, by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.

“Today I signed an order depriving the People's Deputy Ilya Kiva of the right to the award weapon, which was issued to him in 2015. The reason is his unworthy behavior and actions that discredit the very fact of his award on behalf of the Ukrainian State. Before the law, everyone is equal, the people's deputies are no exception. Likewise, I will be deprived of the right to award weapons and other persons if they violate the law, use weapons for provocative actions or incite hatred in society,” said Denis Monastyrsky.

According to him, by the end of the year, an electronic register of weapons will work in Ukraine. The process of registration of hunting and sports weapons will be simplified, and control over their storage and training will be significantly strengthened.

“Everyone has to remember that guns are a responsibility. And to have a prize weapon is an honor and no one has the right to smear it with unworthy behavior! The safety of citizens and the honor of the state are above all! Glory to Ukraine!”, - said Denis Monastyrsky.
