Denis Monastyrsky awarded representatives of the NAV, who became the winners of the European Boxing Championship
Today, December 24, the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky presented departmental awards to representatives of the boxing sports section of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, who became the winners of the European Boxing Championship.
For outstanding sports achievements, a significant personal contribution to the development of domestic sport, the award of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Firearms” was awarded to the senior lecturer of the National Academy of Sciences Serhiy Kozenko.
Valuable gifts — watches were received by: NAVS specialist Dmytro Odinoky, inspector of the special purpose police regiment of the GUNP in the city. Kyiv Nikita Nemykin and NASU cadet Bogdan Zavgorodniy.
“I want to pay special attention to the heads of the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the heads of the National Police to the development of sports. If there are such talented people, they need to be supported, helped, then there will be success. I got acquainted with the history of the NAVS boxing section, which was created in 2017. I state that in 4 years this is a serious, worthy result”, - said Denis Monastyrsky.
Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Cherney noted that: “Sport is the basis of training our youth. When the flag of Ukraine and the flag of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are raised at international exercises - this is our authority.”
Recall, the European Martial Arts Championship Combat Self-Defense ICO was held in the city of Zalaegerszeg (Hungary). A total of 13 teams participated. The national team of Ukraine in the end won the first team place!
