The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine took part in the international exhibition Milipol-2021 in Paris

Today, on October 19, the international exhibition Milipol Paris-2021 started in Paris, the latest technologies and developments in the fields of national security and defense, and law enforcement were presented there. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Honcharov and Ihor Bondarenko took part in its opening.

They met, particularly, with the Minister of the Interior of France Gérald Darmanin, the leadership of the cybersecurity unit of the French National Gendarmerie and other participants at the Milipol Paris-2021. It was referred to the latest developments in the fields of data protection, civil defense, anti-terrorism, combating cyber threats and cybercrime, road safety, and the combating organized crime.

The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was especially interested in French computer systems for training drone operators, non-lethal ammunition, surveillance and threat detection systems produced by the EXAVISION.            

Recall, that this is not the first time the Ministry of Internal Affairs has taken part in the exhibition, particularly, in 2019 during this event an intergovernmental framework agreement was signed between Ukraine and France on official support in strengthening the maritime security system and border security.

General Information:

The Milipol Paris exhibition is held every two years under the auspices of the French Ministry of the Interior. The exhibition presents about a thousand exhibits from more than 50 countries: special equipment for the army and police - various thematic sections: weapons, equipment and special equipment for law enforcement and security services, anti-terrorist units; motor vehicles, manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, means of communication, etc.
