Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine took part in the international exhibition Milipol-2021 in Paris

Today, October 19, the international exhibition Milipol Paris-2021 began in Paris, where the latest technologies and developments in the fields of national security and defense, and law enforcement activities are presented. The opening was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Goncharov and Igor Bondarenko.

They met, in particular, with French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanen, the head of the cyber security unit of the French National Gendarmerie and other participants of Milipol Paris-2021. It was about the latest developments in the fields of data protection, civil defense, anti-terrorism, the fight against cyber threats and cybercrime, road safety, the fight against organized crime.

In particular, the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was interested in French computer systems for training drone operators, non-lethal munitions, surveillance and threat detection systems of the manufacturing company “EXAVISION”.

It is not the first time that the Ministry of Internal Affairs participates in the exhibition, in particular, in 2019, during its holding, an intergovernmental framework agreement was signed between Ukraine and France on official support in strengthening the system of maritime protection and border security.

The Milipol Paris exposition is held every two years under the auspices of the French Ministry of the Interior. The exhibition presents about a thousand exhibits from more than 50 countries: special equipment for the army and police — various thematic sections: weapons, equipment and special equipment for law enforcement agencies and security services, anti-terrorist units; motor vehicles, manned and unmanned aircraft, aerial vehicles linkage, etc.
