Declaring the place of residence of an adult and a child online in one day: the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law in the second reading
The draft law will significantly simplify the process of declaring the place of residence, in particular, it is not necessary to take any certificate from the place of residence because the relevant data will be contained in the electronic system (VIS DMS). This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bohdan Drapyaty.
According to him, homeowners will be able to discharge persons of certain categories upon application to the ASAP, and not as before - exclusively by court decision.
“The homeowner can also submit an online application for the declaration of the place of residence of a person, not to waste time visiting the ASAP providing a lot of documents for housing. All information about ownership is verified through the real estate registry,” the deputy minister said.
In addition, citizens will be able to obtain pension accrual services, specialized and highly specialized medical care, etc. at the place of application, and not at the registered place of residence, as was the case before.
“I am sincerely grateful to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the State Migration Service of Ukraine, and all those involved in the development of the draft law and the improvement of the legislation,” said Bohdan Drapyaty.
