Four residents of Rivne region who attacked the investigating police have chosen a precautionary measure — internal security of the National Police
Recall: the event happened in Sarny. A group of young men after a verbal conflict with a police officer of the Rivne region tracked him down, damaged the gate on the outskirts and with their fists threw their fists first at the lawman, and then at his wife. To protect his family, the policeman had to use a traumatic weapon. As a result, three people were injured.
The investigative department of the Sarnensky RVP opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As part of the protection of the system, the internal security operatives of the National Police carried out a complex of priority investigative and investigative actions and collected an evidence base, on the basis of which, under the procedural leadership of the Sarnia District Prosecutor's Office, four participants in the attack on the policeman were announced under the procedural leadership of the Sarnia District Prosecutor's Office. At the moment, the court has already chosen a preventive measure in the form of night house arrest for three defendants, another will be chosen later.
For the actions committed, young men may face punishment: restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
