Border guards and units located at the junction of the detachments determined the algorithm of joint actions in case of changes in the situation. Within the framework of the organization of operational and service activities for 2022, the border guards of the 9th Zhytomyr Border Detachment named after the Sichov Striltsy, the 105th Chernihiv Border Detachment named after Prince Vladimir the Great, as well as 10 mobile border detachments and a separate checkpoint “Kyiv” organized interaction facilitation.
The events took place at the site of the Ivankiv Border Service Department under the general direction of the Deputy Director of the Department — Head of the Border Service Organization Department of the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Colonel Serhiy Voronoi.
The leadership of the border guards and units located at the junction of the detachments, determined the algorithm of joint actions in case of changes in the situation. Coordinated the procedure for the implementation of tasks during the protection of the river section of the border, the implementation of the escort of foreign vessels, the use of marine protection boats and the maintenance in the controlled areas of the border regime.
During the meeting, among others, the participants listened to the general operational situation and identified the main threats that may arise at the border and agreed on ways to overcome them. Considered problematic issues affecting the state of border security and confronting various challenges, including external ones.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine effectively protects the Ukrainian border.
It should be noted that the other day a complex of activities on the organization of interaction between bodies and units was carried out with the Volyn detachment and Sumy border detachments.
