Packages with parachutes were found near the border with the Russian Federation
Soldiers of the Luhansk Border Detachment, which performs tasks as part of the United Forces, found near the border with the Russian Federation goods that are subject to state expert control.
While patrolling the state border, border guards noticed four people. Three moved near the state border on the territory of the Russian Federation, and one person - on the territory of Ukraine.
The response team of one of the units of state border protection was immediately moved to this direction.
During further searches, border guards found four bags. They were in a reed bed near the state border. After examining the find, law enforcement officers found four parachutes in it, which were subsequently handed over to employees of the competent law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a pre-trial investigation under Art. 333 “Violation of the procedure for international transfers of goods subject to state export control”, within the framework of which urgent investigative actions are carried out.
