More than 400 police officers will guard public order during the music festival on the island of Khortitsa
More than 30 servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine are also involved in the service these days.
On August 27, 28, on the island of Khortitsa it is planned to hold a music festival “ZOUND FESTIVAL”. In the program of the festival, performances of stars of Ukrainian and foreign pop are planned. More than six thousand spectators are expected to attend.
Specialists-explosives and cynologists conducted an operational-technical inspection of the territory of the National Reserve “Khortitsa” in order to identify explosive and suspicious objects and continue to serve on high alert mode.
Additional outfits have been created from among patrol police officers who are close to the venue of the event and will monitor compliance with traffic rules.
In order to respond promptly to emergency events during the festival, more than 300 rescuers and 94 units of special equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region will be on 24-hour duty in the region. On the island of Khortitsa, 1 unit of special equipment, 5 personnel and a task force will perform duty and provide security.
Police officers urge Zaporizhzhia residents and visitors not to violate public order, to observe anti-epidemiological measures, including the use of personal protective equipment and to observe social distancing.
Recall: In Zaporizhzhia, about 200 law enforcement officers will ensure public order during the Europa League football match.
