Emergency vehicles with humanitarian cargo arrived in the Republic of Lithuania
Yesterday, September 2, a humanitarian cargo sent by Ukraine for the security needs of the Republic of Lithuania reached its destination and passed all the necessary customs procedures.
Recall: more than 48 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from Ukraine to Lithuania on September 1. Earlier, on August 14, Ukrainian rescuers delivered another 38 tons of cargo to the Baltic country. These are the first and second stages of the three planned assistance, which Ukraine will send in accordance with the Decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the order of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The assistance will help strengthen the protection of Lithuania's borders against illegal migrants.
