First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sergey Yarovyi noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is a powerful system in which real professionals work.
“Just yesterday we conducted comprehensive training in Rivne, where almost all units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved. We really saw professionalism, unity of all forces, the desire to give ourselves to fulfill the tasks. I am grateful to each and every one of you. Those who were near in the most difficult times for our state, who ensured the rule of law. This indicates that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is a powerful system. Thank you to everyone here and those who are currently serving. I am sincerely grateful to the captain of our team of thousands, Arsen Avakov. We have seen everything that was created and implemented, we feel your constant care and concern for our system to be truly professional,” Serhiy Yarovyi stressed.

The head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin said that every employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs deserves an award because he defends the integrity of our state every day and comes to the aid of people.
“For the eighth year in a row, the war launched by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has been going on. Unfortunately, our people pay a very high price — tens of thousands of dead and injured, almost two million temporarily displaced persons, thousands of hectares of territory contaminated with explosive objects, orphans. But it is for people like you, who daily contribute to the development of our state, the protection of its sovereignty, we will succeed and we will definitely win,” said Nikolai Chechotkin.
The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Mykola Balan congratulated everyone with high awards and wished peace, good, further achievements and new awards.
“Any state award is a gratitude of the state, its leaders to its soldier and employee. But this is also a certain duty of the awardees to fulfill their official duties and combat tasks. I wish all of you that the number of your missions will always be equal to their return,” said the commander of the National Guard Nikolai Balan.
The “National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Award” of the second degree was also received by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Filenko. By the way, he was one of those who wrote the Constitution of Ukraine.
“More than seven years ago, Arsen Avakov considered the Ministry of Internal Affairs disintegrated and disorganized. Over the years, we have a reform of the National Police, qualitatively new State Border Service and National Guard, high equipment of the State Emergency Service, new weapons, helicopters, and most importantly - a new generation of employees who are a reliable support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the state as a whole. Thank you,” Volodymyr Filenko said.
