Arsen Avakov awarded state and departmental awards to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Today, June 18, in fulfillment of the Decree of the President of Ukraine, the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov awarded the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with orders and medals, departmental decorations, and the employees of the system were awarded honorary titles.

Arsen Avakov awarded the employees the Order “For Courage”, the Order of “Bogdan Khmelnitsky”, the Order of “Princess Olga”, the medals “For Impeccable Service”, “For Saved Life” and others.

The Minister of the Interior congratulated everyone with the awards and noted that each awardee works honestly and faithfully for the state.

“I have the honor, on behalf of the state of Ukraine and on behalf of the President, to present state awards. To each of you — an officer, an ordinary and an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We are proud of each and every one of you, thank you to each and every one of you! Glory to you and Glory to Ukraine!”, - said Arsen Avakov.

For conscientious attitude to the performance of official duties, high professional skill, initiative and perseverance, shown in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, interests of the state, special merits in strengthening national security, protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and showing courage, heroism and patriotism, conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people was awarded: the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky II degree of the First Deputy Commander-Chief of Staff of the NGU, Lieutenant General Volodymyr Kondratiuk. Order of Princess Olga III degree Oksana Kyrychenko, Head of the Department of Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after Heroes of Chernobyl, National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine.

The first deputy commander of the NGU - Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Vladimir Kondratyuk thanked the state for the high award and emphasized that the National Guard is ready to continue to serve conscientiously.

The Order “For Courage” of the III degree was awarded to 14 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system - rescuers and national guards.

The Medal “For Impeccable Service” of the 3rd degree was awarded to 9 guards, policemen and rescuers. Also, policemen, guards, border guards and rescuers received medals “For military service to Ukraine”, “Defender of the Fatherland”, “For work and recovery”, “For life saved”.

First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sergey Yarovyi noted that every employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is worthy of an award and every day improves his skills to come to the aid of people.

“Dear colleagues, it is very nice when you receive our awards, it shows that all our units perform their service with dignity. I would like to thank you for the fact that every day each of you becomes more professional, better, always ready to be where trouble happens,” Serhiy Yarovyi said.

Also, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were awarded honorary titles - “Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine”, “Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine”, “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine”.

The head of the State Border Service Sergey Deineko congratulated everyone with high awards, wished peace, happiness, good and further achievements and new awards. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received Certificates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Honorary Certificates of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Oleksiy Takhtai noted that receiving the highest state awards is a great honor.

“But it's an even greater honor to serve and work with people like you,” he said.

The head of the National Police Igor Klymenko thanked doctors for saving thousands of lives every day. “Congratulations to doctors on a public holiday. And everyone who received state awards, I want to thank for their service. With your successes, you raise our system to new heights,” said Igor Klymenko.

First Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Oleg Melchutsky thanked everyone for their selfless and heroic work: “It is a great honor to be with you on the same footing. Thank you for more than one life saved and may the Lord protect you.”

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko thanked all doctors for their work and stressed that the best specialists work in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On the occasion of the Day of the Medical Worker, which will be celebrated on June 20, for fruitful work, significant personal contribution to the development and strengthening of the departmental medical service, achievement of significant achievements in the prevention and treatment of diseases, the doctors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received medals “For work and recovery”, honorary title “Meritorious” Honored Doctor of Ukraine”, honors from the National Security Council, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
