Announcement: International tournament of special purpose units in memory of Vasyl Polyakov
From July 12 to 16, in Cherkasy region, in the Main Training Center of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Major General Igor Momot, the international competition of small tactical groups on applied multisport “Tournament of the State Border Service of Ukraine in memory of Vasily Polyakov” will be held.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine holds this tournament for the fourth time and invites the best fighters of Ukrainian special units. And this year, teams of Western partners also participate in the competition. Therefore, the tournament has also acquired an international scale.
Special officers will compete for the championship in the military-sports arena in shooting skill, physical endurance, ability to act in a team in stressful situations and, of course, exchange practical experience. All stages of the competition will be as close as possible to combat.
Media days are scheduled for July 12 and 16, namely:
12.07 — celebrations on the occasion of the opening of the Tournament and the 1st stage of the competition — reinforced obstacle course (start is scheduled at 08:30);
16.07 — 4th stage of the competition — special assignment relay (scenario) and celebrations on the occasion of the closing of the Tournament (start is scheduled at 08:30).
