Andriy Kryshchenko: “Kyiv police continue to monitor compliance with anti-epidemic measures by business entities”
During the day, law enforcement officers checked 533 objects of economic activity. The vast majority of violations are the work of entertainment establishments, despite the ban as part of the strengthening of quarantine requirements.
In order to monitor the implementation of quarantine restrictions, Kiev police officers constantly monitor business entities and check compliance with anti-epidemic measures by both individuals and legal entities.
“During the day, the police checked 533 objects. Among them were entertainment establishments: “Hype”, “50”, “Ishak”, “Sparks”, “Shef”, the restaurant of the hotel “Favor Park”, which worked despite the ban and visitors were inside. Law enforcement officers recorded the facts of violation of quarantine requirements and brought the administrators of institutions to justice. As a result, for non-compliance with the requirements of Article 44-3 (Violation of the rules on quarantine of people) of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses, the police officers drew up 50 protocols. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine from 34 to 170 thousand hryvnias,” said the head of the Kiev police Andriy Kryshchenko.
Also, the police made 250 administrative orders for visitors. After all visitors left the institution, employees of the State Consumer Service carried out immediate processing of the premises.
“Once again, we turn to the managers of entertainment establishments, who, despite the current restrictions, often resort to tricks and organize closed parties with limited access in places. We assure that all such facts will not remain unnoticed by law enforcement officers,” the head of the capital's head added.
At the same time, we inform that for violation of sanitary rules and norms for the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisoning, criminal liability is provided in accordance with Art. 325 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
