The waters of Mariupol and all of Azov will be safe — Arsen Avakov
This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs during the inspection of the units of the State Emergency Service in Donetsk region.
“Emergency rescue workers are constantly improving technically and professionally. High-speed RIB boats, modern diving equipment and quadcopters that help in rescue operations at sea, including complex ones such as underwater mining. The water area of Mariupol and all of Azov will be safe,” Arsen Avakov said.
In turn, the head of the State Emergency Service Nikolai Chechotkin noted that the units of the State Emergency Service have become much more powerful precisely in the waters of the Sea of Azov.
“We received three new boats and a new technical and radiation laboratory. Over the past year, 18 units of rescue equipment were also received. Since the beginning of the war, the units of the State Emergency Service have been restoring houses that were damaged by enemy shelling. As of today, it has been possible to restore more than two thousand houses. This year alone, 80 private estates have been restored,” he said.
Also, the head of the State Emergency Service reminded that work on the mining of Donetsk region takes place daily. On average, 70-80 dangerous objects can be removed and neutralized per day.
