The government plans to buy new hybrid cars for National Police
The Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed that during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As he said, the government plans to buy hybrid cars Toyota RAV4, that have low fuel consumption and do small amount of emissions, for the new police patrol in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
He noted that the total sum of the Kyoto Protocol is 1 billion UAH and the process of reconciliation with the Japanese party is ongoing.
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, the total amount of funds granted for the purchase of vehicles will be 43 million UAH.
Let us remind that new patrol initially started working in the capital, Kiev, having taken the oath on July 4, 2015. Currently, the new police are working in 20 cities of Ukraine. The next step is the launch of patrol police in the cities of Donetsk region: Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, and Luhansk region.
