The National Police treated the incident as “group hooliganism”

The National Police of Ukraine has begun criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigators are clarifying the circumstances of the incident and the operatives are identifying the participants of the conflict.
The fight occurred at around 11pm local time on Thursday. Two people were taken to the police station in Golosievo district of Kiev.
All circumstances of the incident will be established in the framework of criminal proceeding. The law enforcers are looking for other participants in the fight to give their actions a legal assessment.
