The Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov said it today at the ceremony of awarding the NPU Criminal Investigation Department staff in connection with their professional holiday.

"We both understand - I and the Head of the National police - that currently it is the most difficult part of the police work. Despite all perturbations and disquieting re-certifications, you have to understand clearly that you should set the bar high. And it's not so hard to do, because most of you are highly experienced professionals"- stated the head of the Ministry.
According to the Minister, the current level of public trust to the National Police is almost 44%, which means clear improvement in comparison with last year.
"And it is now, at a time when we all realize that we have just begun our reform and we have a long way ahead of us. I want you to feel very confident and to think about future" - said Arsen Avakov.
He presented awards to the best officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine and to local police detectives from all regions of the country.
