730 tons of humanitarian cargo followed last week for TOTU residents
During the past week, 37 humanitarian aid vehicles from the International Committee of the Red Cross and 15 vehicles from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees drove to the temporarily occupied territory, crossing the demarcation line at the Schastya checkpoint and the Novotroitske checkpoint.
In the luggage compartment of trucks there are grocery sets and plastic containers, household products, building materials, hygiene products, medical supplies and medical equipment. The total weight of the rubber aid was more than 730 tons.
It should be noted that the movement of humanitarian goods at these two checkpoints takes place regularly. At the same time, daily traffic for citizens through these road corridors is still blocked by the Russian occupation forces.
