UAH 300,000 of unjustified payments — the exhibitor of the Pervomaiskcoal mine in Luhansk region will appear before the court
One of the former heads of a state-owned enterprise is accused of abuse of office.
As established by the operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Luhansk region together with law enforcement colleagues, one of the mine managers agreed to a written statement about the issuance of return financial assistance to the mine official. As a result, 300 thousand UAH were unreasonably charged to him, and therefore the state-owned enterprise suffered losses of the corresponding amount.
On the basis of the evidence received, investigators of the department №4 of the Severodonetsk district police department informed one of the heads of the state enterprise “Pervomayskvuhilya” about the suspicion. The investigation is now complete.
The indictment, in agreement with the Popasnyansky Department of the Lysychansk District Prosecutor's Office of the Luhansk region, was referred to the court under part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of official position).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to six years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years, with a fine of five hundred to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.
