26 hours in conditions close to combat: the guards of the NGU Training Center held field exercises
26 hours to detect explosive devices, pass the RKB infection zone, practice actions during an ambush, all this was mastered by servicemen who are trained under the program of basic training of servicemen during the development period. It should be noted that daily exercises are as close as possible to combat conditions., the warriors were tested not only for physical endurance, but also psychological endurance.
“It's a great feeling when, after overcoming the RKB zone of infection, you are able to breathe in a breath of fresh air, adrenaline goes up,” said soldier Olena Kravchenko. During the training, each of the guards consolidated their skills in arranging fire positions and maintaining the boundaries while repelling an enemy attack.
“For me, this is a challenge and I am ready to reach the end, as they say: it can be difficult in training, but these difficulties harden our character,” said soldier Mykhailo Nikitenko. It is
worth noting that the Basic Training Program of the Ordinary Staff was developed by the teachers of the Training Center together with representatives of the Operational Center Operational Tactical Group of the Canadian Armed Forces (Operation “UNIFIER”) according to NATO standards. The program focuses on developing the potential capabilities of each serviceman who has chosen contract service in the National Guard of Ukraine.
