15 foreigners refused entry to Ukraine following from Belarus
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has warned the attempt of foreign citizens from the Middle East to enter Ukraine from the Republic of Belarus.
For a more than fictional purpose of the trip, today they tried to cross the border at the checkpoint in Chernihiv region.
15 foreigners were traveling by regular bus from Minsk.
During border control measures, citizens told the DPSU servicemen heading to our state for the purpose of tourism. However, during an additional check, the border guards found out that foreigners, including four teenagers, arrived in the capital of Belarus a few weeks ago and immediately headed to the Grodno region. In their words, after inspecting the “sights” in the west of the neighboring republic, travelers decided welcome to Ukraine as well.
Travelers assured that in our country they are most interested in the landscapes of Lviv region. It was from Lviv that they, it seemed, planned to return home. However, such a tourist route did not convince law enforcement and did not become a basis for confirming the purpose of their trip.
It was also found that most of these persons had passports issued almost in one period, in September-October of this year.
Measures for additional verification of the legality of entry into Ukraine were carried out by border guards together with representatives of the National Police and the SBU.
At the moment, the soldiers of the State Border Guard Service have made a decision not to allow and return travelers to the Republic of Belarus, because these persons had no grounds to enter the territory of our state.
Recall that the border with the Republic of Belarus is currently tightened, including measures are being taken to prevent attempts to use official entry channels by potential illegal migrants.
