13 citizens of the Russian Federation tried to cross the state of Ukraine with invalid and fake passports
In Odesa region, 12 crew members of a foreign vessel presented passports issued to the TOT of Ukraine, and in “Shegyny” border guards found a Russian with a fake Greek passport.
At the checkpoint “Seaport Pivdennyi” in the city. Yuzhne, during the registration of the ship under the flag of Liberia for arrival, the border guards of the Odessa detachment found 12 members of the ship's crew — all citizens of the Russian Federation, who presented invalid documents for inspection, namely — issued to the TOT AR Crimea. These foreigners were banned by border guards from entering Ukraine for a period of 3 years.
We remind you that in accordance with Art. 9 of the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens and the Legal Regime in the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine”, any bodies, their officials and officials in the temporarily occupied territory and their activities are considered illegal if these bodies or persons are created, elected or appointed in a manner not provided for by law. In addition, any act (decision, document) issued by such bodies and/or persons is invalid and does not create legal consequences.
In addition, during passport control at the checkpoint “Shegyny”, the border guards of the Lviv detachment had doubts about the belonging of the document to one of the passengers of the minibus. The 37-year-old man was heading to Poland. Law enforcement officers found out that the passport of a Greek citizen does not belong to the bearer, and the document was also forged. Subsequently, the foreigner said that he was a citizen of the Russian Federation. The man was taken to the border department to clarify the circumstances of the offense and bring him to administrative and criminal responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 204-1 KupaP and for part 4 of Art. 358 KKU.
